Mac's Random Photos

Well, Today (Sunday November 7) I went to Sikeston with a good friend of mine (pictured here) to eat at Lambert's. This is Alex working on the flight plan to Sikeston, Mo.

We departed John Tune Airport in Nashville, TN and headed to Union City to pick up Alex's sister.

This is Chelsea on her first flight in a "small" airplane.... She doesn't seem that scared.

Here Alex is flying the airplane, but manages to break away from the ordeal of flying to pose for a picture. Say cheese Alex!

And here I am, the co-pilot flying to Union City then onto Sikeston... OK, so I wasn't REALLY a co-pilot, but I am a pilot and I was flyiing Right seat for this leg of the trip!

Here we are in Union City about to board and take off to head off to Sikeston, MO. There's Alex, Me, Chelsea, and Alex's sister, Maryna.

On our way to Sikeston, we met up with Joey.

Here is Alex and Maryna's father's (Captain Steve) Ferry on the Mississippi River. He had a radio and could talk with us as we flew around his ferry.

When we got to Sikeston, Alex pointed out this sticker on the water fountain in the terminal of the airport. It was so random I had to take a picture of it. Drink at your own risk!

And here's what we've all been waiting for! LAMBERT'S! Home of the Throwed Rolls!

Here we all are eating at Lambert's! Its an AWESOME place to go!

Chelsea is in disbelief that her BBQ Ribs were THAT BIG! "I've got to eat THAT?!"

Here's Joey sitting on our wing.

Here's Joey and Alex refueling our plane to head back to Murfreesboro, TN. Well, I should say Alex is refueling and Joey is just sitting on the wing.

One last group shot of us all at Sikeston, MO airport. From left to right: Joey, Maryna, Me, Alex, Argie, Chelsea, Randall, Jack, and Tom.

While flying back we flew in a group over the Ferry. This is Randall following us.

Here is Tom next to us.

This picture is of Randall (Closest to us and on the right) and Joey (behind Randall and on the left).

Here is Argie and Jack in a Diamand DA-20. I think this was the best picture I took during the flight. Gotta love the telephoto lense!

This is the TN, River at sunset.

Here is Tom flying on our left.

Another picture of Tom's airplane off our left wing. (Plenty of seperation!)

And finally. A sunset over Tennessee. It was a BEAUTIFUL day to fly! This is why I fly! What a view! Good friends, Good food, and Good times!

This has nothing to do with going to Sikeston, but I've been debating whether or not to put this picture up. I took this picture while interning at MEM this past summer. What a lucky shot!
