FINA/CAF Airsho!

So it was Airsho weekend here at MAF. A lot happened so I will begin with preshow pictures...

Well, in preparation of the Airsho, all the aircraft must come in. And we had a lot come in!


F-15 does a fly by 2 days before airshow.

With the B-29 Fifi out of service, the B-17 did the honors of dropping the "A bomb" for the airshow. Bomb bay doors open!

  • Wow, you not only got the Corsair flying! but also massive explosions! Excellent! I wonder what it was like to get the permits for the explosions?

    Also, I can't believe you got that close to the "Sentimental Journey!" Pretty famous aircraft. Upon further investigation it seems the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) is located at your airport. Cool!
