I figured I would upload some pictures I got since it might be a while due to the fact that I am sending my camera back to the shop for repairs (focus problems when shooting distant shots fully zoomed in).

First I begin with this shot. Look closely and see if you can find a furry little creature. The answer is at the very bottom so don't give up to fast. Its there.

I had to do the Safety Area Inspection and while I was out there I got some opportunities to get some ok shots. I would have gotten more if I didn't have to go into Manual Focus.

Contental landing RWY 10.

Chinooks.

Marines refueling.

While doing the RWY inspection Tower had me hold in the grass for this aircraft. Here it is running up its engine before takeoff.

FA-18.

Another shot.

Huey landing on Avion Ramp. Here the line man is telling it where to park.

Well, we had some Kindergarteners come for a tour of our airport. Here they are waving at Southwest Airlines.

Here the plane is arriving.

The kids got really excited when the Pilot came down to visit with them!

Here he is talking to a few of them.

Here they are learning about the Pliska Aeroplane that hangs over the Baggage Claim area. "That plane is even older than your grandparents!"

Here I am with two of the police officers that work at Midland International. I thought it was a good shot.

Here a Prairie Dog sticks its head out of its hole. I thought it was funny looking.

I tried to get closer to get a shot of this falcon but it started to fly just as I approached it. Barely got it.

Cool shot of it about to fly overhead.

OK.... here is a hint at the answer. Its a Jack Rabbit so keep looking.
Front view.

Another shot of it.

This is what it looks like when it stands up. Right before it ran away. Fast little Boogers.

And here is the answer. So now you know why they are so hard to see. The only way I found it was when I got right up on it. Glad it was cold and not a SNAKE!
