OK... so I have been posting a lot lately of personal stories and haven't been putting up pictures. So here we go. Now you can see what I've been seeing at work instead of reading boring stuff.


First is a picture of our Air Traffic Control Tower from a helicopter. I took this when I was flying with DPS to get pictures of our airfield.


This is what a baby rattle snake looks like. Notice it has only one little rattle. (Don't worry, I was in the car and wouldn't dare step out of it without first checking to make sure it coast was clear!)


Another baby rattler. Notice how hard it is to see on the pavement.


This is what an adult rattler looks like. Yeah, I was kind of making him mad. Fortunately I'm pretty brave when I'm sitting in a car knowing that I'm safe!


Another angle of it. I personally am reminded of the old drawing during the Revolutionary War, "Join or Die!"


It looks like I'm closer than I really was. Thank God for a good zoom!!!


Here is a different rattler in the grass. Notice how hard it is to see. You won't catch me walking around outside without looking!


Since I'm on wildlife. Here is a frog I found hopping down Taxiway 'A'. Couldn't resist.

This is one of our OPS Vehicles. We have 3 total. Two Crown Vics (like this one) and an ANCIENT Suburban. I'll try and get a shot of it and post it if I can.


Here is Midland International Airport's Terminal building from Closed Runway 16R. The interesting part about this picture was I was trying to capture lightening behind the terminal. Well it never struck while the shudder was open. However, it did strike behind me and fairly close! Because it struck close and while the camera was taking the picture, it acted like a flash bulb for the camera only on a much larger scale! Because of that, it helped illuminate the aircraft better and make the runway and grass show up. How cool!


This is one of my personal favorites. This is MAF Terminal with departing traffic on top. I am on CLOSED runway 16R NORTH of OPEN runway 10. Traffic Departed 10 and I got it streaking through the sky over the terminal.
